It was vintage mania in Manchester at Whitworth Hall on Saturday 1st November. People patiently queued out in the cold so they could get their hands on some vintage goodies. Shoppers can take delight in some of the UK’s best vintage traders with items from every era from the 1940s right through to the 1990s. Lou Lou set up the vintage fair in September 2008 and now takes the Vintage Fair to over 45 towns and cities across the country and the number is still growing. Lou Lou’s Vintage Fair offers vintage clothing and accessories, homewares, furniture and much more. As well as the fantastic selection of stalls, visitors can also enjoy a quiet moment with tea and cakes served on vintage china at the Vintage Tea Party. I bought a green and gold brocade 50s prom dress and two sterling silver shell rings from the vintage fair. Thinking about the stories and people behind these vintage things makes me love vintage even more, and by wearing vintage, I’m just adding to that story.
